Police Camp is Reserved April 5th . if you are a member and would like to reserve the camp, contact Keith McCary at 601-917-6262. Non-members will need a $200 Deposit with $100 returned if it’s clean after use. Power and Water is available .

The National Fraternal Order of Police regrets to report that as of midnight on 30 November, there have been 314 officers shot in the line of duty in 2025. Of those officers shot, 43 of them were killed.

At today’s meeting Lowell Shinn was elected president and Brian McCary as Vice President … so glad we had several new members. We will be posting info about the 31st annual MPBA golf tournament in September. Start getting ready and stay tuned.

Annual MPBA Meeting Wednesday July16th Noon at the Meridian Police Department Briefing Room. All Sworn and Non Sworn Meridian Police Department Employees Active and Retired can join. $25 a year.

Next week is police week with the 15th being Memorial Day.
