What an incredible past weekend at Wings Over Meridian! 🎉

Two years of meticulous planning** paid off in every way, delivering a safe, seamless air show for our community.
50+ NAS Meridian Fire and Emergency Services personnel** brought their A-game with extensive training, readiness, and teamwork.

Over the 4 days while the performers took to the skies above NAS Meridian, there were no major incidents—a true testament to preparation, practice, and the professional ex*****on of seamless operations.

In the week leading up to the show, the crash fire rescue team on installation conducted rigorous training and rehearsals, achieving a one-minute response time inside the acrobatic box required during performances, meeting FAA high-performance flying requirements for the Blue Angels, the F-22 demo team, and the F-35 demo.

We couldn’t have kept the installation safe without the support of our mutual aid partners—our gratitude for the teamwork and collaboration is limitless.

A special shoutout to NAS Security/Military Police for an outstanding job—your dedication underpins every success we celebrate.
