Gem State Tea Party (GSTP) Founding Principles: Individual Freedom, State Sovereignty, and Free Market Economics — We focus on ACTION. Many others out there are all TALK.

The Gem State Tea Party is a statewide Tea Party Confederation which is working together to bring about substantial changes in the State of Idaho. We support increased personal liberty, lower taxes, decreased regulations, and smaller and more accountable government. We stalwartly oppose all efforts to increase the power and scope of government over liberty, and will work diligently to undo and eli

minate existing regulations and taxes which stand in the way of individual freedom and prosperity. We ACTIVELY engage in activity that brings about change in 2 national and 3 statewide issues. The national issues include Jury Education and enjoying our vested rights outlined in the constitution. State issues include bringing education to the local(parent and teacher) level, healthcare is between the Dr. and the patient(remove Government and Insurance lobby) and the disposes the federal government fro title to Idaho lands. We know that prosperity comes from productivity and not from redistribution of wealth.

The redrawing commission meets every 10 years. This is a very important part of what makes the USA exceptional. Our system, good or bad as it is at this moment, is based on Apportionment. This apportionment is based on population.

Idaho has grown and changed so much in the last 10 years significantly changing our maps.
