We will have fun individual/group minute to win it games, card/board games, fun bonding activities, and of course tons of food. Meeting Recap:

Yesterday we had our second bi-monthly meeting of the year! The meeting was all about fun! Myac’ers had the opportunity to kick off the meeting with a fun Oreo ice breaker.

This was followed by a break out group activity lead by the executive council, where they brainstormed events and activities they wanted to see for the next year.

After our break out groups we had a Kahoot on all things MYAC - with some Idaho/meridian trivia mixed in. The top three scorers won cute prizes.

Finally, Myac’ers got to know each other a little better with a ‘get to know you bingo’ activity.

Introducing our Executive Council for 2025-2026

Vice Chair : Elizabeth (Liz) Wright

A little bit about Elizabeth
“Hiiii! My name is Elizabeth but you can call me Liz or anything I don’t mind! I am the MYAC vice chair and I’m so excited to have this role and contribute to the better of MYAC! I’m in 12th grade at Renaissance Highscool and have been in MYAC for almost two years. Some interesting things about me is that I love to work out .One of the favorite sports I did was boxing! I also like to do other fun activities such as singing and dancing. What I’m most excited about for this year is to meet new people that could help contribute to MYAC and make it even more fun!”

Government Affairs Chair : Ethan Riordan

A little bit about Ethan…
“Howdy! My name is Ethan, and I’m the Government Affairs Chair for the 2025-2026 MYAC schedule!
As the government affairs chair, I am responsible for leading all government affairs within MYAC, which includes meeting with and engaging politicians, as well as learning more about how our government operates.
I am a sophomore at Renaissance, and I joined MYAC at the start of last year. I love philosophy, acting, and any excuse to go down a rabbithole. I also love reading, writing, and interpretive art. Next year, I’m looking forward to having a ton of fun and making connections with people.”

Government Affairs Vice Chair : Conner Rudishauser

A little bit about Conner…
“Hi my name is Conner I am the vice chair of government affairs and I’m going into my sophomore year, a couple things I’ve loved at my time with MYAC are the team building ice breakers at the beginning of every meeting, the amazing activities in which we learn about different types of government procedures and skills that have an impact even if government is not your future goal. A couple things I like to do outside of MYAC are running, going to the gym, and late night gaming sessions with my friends! This past year was great and I can’t wait for the next one as a part of the Meridian MYAC executive council.”

Community Service Chair : Alessandra Sanchez

A little Bit about Alessandra…
“My name is Alessandra Sanchez, and I am a sophomore at Meridian high school. I am community service chair for MYAC. My time in MYAC is what drove me to run for Community Service Chair, as it was such an amazing experience for me. We are involved in so many fun things, for example: Walk to end alzheimers, AIC, Humane Society volunteering, learning opportunities and workshops like Mad city money, etc. Although MYAC is a big part of my life and something i look forward to every Monday, I’m also involved in speech & debate, volleyball, photography, and TRIO Upward bound. Next year, I’m looking forward to (hopefully) many new MYAC members, and meeting most, if not all, my academic, social, and personal goals.”

A little bit about James…
“Hi!! My name is James
Abdel-Monem, I am the Community Service Vice Chair for MYAc, and I’m going to be a senior over at Meridian High this year. Over the last year in MYAC, we had so many great moments. However, going into this year, I know it’s going to be even better! I can not wait to work with you all! Outside of MYAC, I absolutely love to fly fish, sail⛵️, cook👨‍🍳, and work on all sorts of small projects. Among other things, I’m also an FCCLA state officer and part of a robotics team.”

Communications Coordinator : Arabella (Bella) Oswald

A little Bit about Bella…
“Hello My name is Bella! This year I am the communications coordinator for Meridian’s M.Y.A.C, this means I’m in charge of our exterior communications, keeping notes at all meetings, and I run the social media pages! This will be my third year in MYAC, and I will be an incoming junior this fall. Outside of MYAC I am a part of a surplus of other groups including my schools Ski/Snowboard Club, our Writing and Science tutoring centers, and an organization called “The International Order of the Rainbow for Girls”, in which I am a state officer. I have no idea what this next year is going to bring us and I am looking forward to meeting a variety of new people as the class of 2029 joins our rosters!”
