Back out in Meriden today. Many more conversations the past couple of weeks have revolved around residents from across the political spectrum (registered D’s, U’s and R’s) that are sick of the lack of leadership and lack of anything good for everyday people coming out of Washington DC. If the federal government is going to play games and collect paychecks, state government has to be there to make sure people’s basic needs are being met. I’m running because I know what it takes to put in the work and show up for all of my constituents

Ribbon cutting ceremony today at the new section of the linear trail! Senator Chris Murphy, Congresswoman Jahana Hayes, State Representative Hilda Santiago were joined by City Councilors Cardillo and Hauselt.
The new linear trail section is 2.2 miles long and runs down research parkway!
