The Meridale Rural Fire District is currently looking for a dedicated community member to fill a one-year term on our Board of Commissioners.
What does a Fire Commissioner do?
Fire Commissioners play a vital role in ensuring our community stays safe. As a member of the Board, you will work closely with the Fire Department to oversee the district's budget, manage apparatus and equipment needs, and help establish the long-term vision for our local emergency services. This is a unique opportunity to act as a liaison between the taxpayers and our first responders, ensuring the department has the resources necessary to protect our homes and families.
Requirements:
• Must be a full time resident of the Meridale Rural Fire District.
• Must be willing to serve a one-year term.
• A commitment to community safety and collaborative leadership.
If you are looking for a meaningful way to give back to Meridale and help support the future of our fire service, we want to hear from you!
