Children's Aid Society of Mercer County The Children's Aid Society Of Mercer County, founded in 1889 and incorporated in 1919, is a private, non-profit, charitable organization (501 c-3).

Governed by a 15 member Board of Directors, selected to geographically represent Mercer County, the Society is supported by a dedicated group of individuals that include Auxiliary members and volunteers.

We received this photo from one of our Foster Families, and we just had to share. ❤️

A new beginning can look like many things...
A child entering a new home.
A foster family opening their hearts.
A snack shared.
A trip to the playground.
A new memory being made.

All of these things may seem small, but for a child in foster care they can mean the world.

We are incredibly thankful for the foster families who say yes, yes to opening their homes, yes to creating memories, and yes to being there for children during times of uncertainty.❤️
