If you are feeling overwhelmed and stressed out by daily life, join our group as we take time out for personal growth and reflection.

We encourage everyone to participate in the next meeting on October 13th at 2pm in our beautiful Helen Black Miller Memorial Chapel located at 119 South Pitt Street, Mercer, PA.

Thank you to everyone who came out and supported us during The Great Stoneboro Fair! We met so many wonderful people and enjoyed watching visitors play our Main Street Mercer County game!

Have used books you would like to swap with someone else? Join us for our Used Book Swap Fundraiser! How does this work, you ask? Just bring up to 5 of your previously read, like new, used books (published after 2000) and $5. The $5 will be donated to the Mercer County Historical Society & Museum. Your books will be organized on tables with other participants’ books. Each participant will be able to choose “new to you” used books (limited to the number of books you donated). Any leftover books will be donated locally. No pre-registration necessary.

Join us at the Mercer County Historical Society on October 2nd at 3pm for a local author event with Paula Panariello and her new book, The Christmas That Love Came, a historical romance set in Mercer County! Grab a signed copy and stay to hear Paula talk about her book and the history behind it!

The Christmas That Love Came description:

Marianne Kovac is a young widow struggling to raise three children, work at an engine manufacturing plant, and deal with an alcoholic father-in-law, all while the shadow of World War Two looms over the country. Riley Andrews, an old friend of Marianne's and an attorney in the small town of Mercer, Pennsylvania, is trying to maintain peace with a meddling and judgmental mother while raising his young son after the death of his wife. A chance meeting leads Marianne and Riley to renew their friendship. Then tragedy strikes, leading to an intense jury trial that leaves Riley in dire straits.
