IMPORTANT UPDATE: Rally for Change has been Canceled — Help Us Fund the Fight Instead
The Rally for Change scheduled for Saturday, September 26, 2026 (5–9 pm, Merced Elks Lodge) is canceled.
After reviewing the calendar and the volume of voter outreach already underway, we chose to put 100% of our energy into GOTV rather than a ticketed indoor rally.
Ticket holders will receive a full refund.

Canceling the event does not mean we are slowing down. It means we are shifting every available hour and dollar into the work that actually changes Merced County: walking precincts, producing voter guides, supporting common-sense candidates, and getting ballots returned.
If you cannot volunteer this week and until last ballot has been counted, you can still help. A donation funds the materials and tools that make that outreach possible.

Take this to the polls.

Merced County Republican Assembly put this together so you don’t have to guess on November 3.
Print it. Screenshot it. Share it with your family, your church, your neighbors. Bring it when you vote.
NO on more borrowing, more taxes, more Sacramento control, and weaker recalls.
YES on Voter ID, protecting Prop 13, auditing special taxes, stopping new taxes on your savings, and cutting the red tape that keeps housing expensive.
This is how we start making California Golden Again — one informed vote at a time.

Adam Gray’s response to a basic question about Newsom’s redistricting plan speaks volumes.

When a constituent pressed Rep. Adam Gray on whether he supports Governor Gavin Newsom’s mid-decade redistricting effort widely criticized as a power grab to lock in Democratic advantages and further dilute Republican representation Gray did not answer. Instead, video shows him blocking the person’s phone to stop the recording.

He ducked the question about backing a scheme that critics say is designed to entrench one-party control in California, including in competitive seats like his own (which he won by a razor-thin margin after prolonged ballot counting). Rather than defend or explain his position, he tried to shut down the record of the exchange.
Elected officials who answer to voters should not put their hand in front of a phone the moment accountability arrives. Blocking recording when asked about redrawing maps for partisan gain looks like the opposite of transparency. Californians deserve straight answers on whether their representatives support changing the rules mid-cycle to favor one side not physical obstruction of the question itself.

If the plan is defensible, defend it on camera. If it isn’t, that refusal and the attempt to stop the recording are the story.

Enjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube.

I’m honored to have the endorsement of the California Republican Assembly

For decades, the CRA has been committed to advancing conservative principles, promoting responsible government, and supporting leaders who will stand up for California taxpayers.

I’m grateful for their confidence and proud to have the CRA standing with me as we work to bring accountability, transparency, and strong taxpayer advocacy to the Board of Equalization.

Thank you to the California Republican Assembly for your support. I look forward to continuing the fight for California taxpayers.

Shannon Grove, Candidate for California State Board of Equalization, District 1
