This event is part of our "Between Two Worlds" series sponsored by a grant from the American Library Association (ALA) and the Yiddish Book Center to offer programs that explore Jewish culture and religion through Yiddish literature.

Join us for our next installment of Philosophers in the Midst of History on Wednesday, May 13th at 6pm. This lecture series focuses on examining the historical contexts in which thinkers like Philo of Alexandria, Meister Eckhart, Jeremy Bentham and Lou Andreas-Salomé were writing in relation to their main ideas.
