I am both proud and excited to announce my candidacy for the office of Mayor of Mequon for the April 5, 2022 municipal election.
As a Mequon resident for the past 17 years and member of the Mequon City Council for nearly 10, I consider myself fortunate to call our great City home. I love living in Mequon. My wife Vanessa and I made the decision to put down roots in Mequon in 2004 and raise our children here because of Mequon’s quality of life, low taxes, and outstanding school system. Vanessa and I have been active sharing our time and talents with the community, from coaching youth sports, leading Scouting activities, and planning community events like the Taste of Mequon.
As your mayor, my approach will be similar to my style as alderman. I am known for listening more and talking less as well as collaboration and compromise to seek better outcomes. I will apply my experience as Alderman and as a Director of Engineering to make decisions that are right for our community today and for generations to come.
I am committed to being responsive to your needs to make our community even stronger. Mequon is a special place with a vibrant community of residents, businesses and wide-open spaces. I look forward to working in partnership with others to ensure Mequon continues to maintain its unique blend of rural charm, suburban character and sense of community.
Serving as a member of Mequon’s Common Council is one of the most rewarding experiences of my lifetime. I am proud to be playing an active role in Mequon’s accomplishments. During my time as an elected official, I have voted to keep taxes low, advocated for our police and fire departments, and worked to ensure our parks are well cared for and roads are in good repair. As mayor, I will remain committed to these priorities.
Giving back to the community where I live is something instilled in me by my parents, furthered through my experience in Boy Scouts working towards my Eagle Scout rank and my college years at Marquette University. I’d like to thank the residents of District 7 & 8 for the opportunity to serve you alderman and I humbly ask for the support of all of Mequon residents as I seek to expand my role in City government as your mayor.

The Mequon Police Department is proud to have a program called Mequon Cares. This program is designed to assist the many Mequon residents who live alone and are not in daily contact with relatives or friends and may have an accident or become ill.
