🇺🇸 This June, we invite you and your family to explore the history of Mentor!

Pick up the Mentor History Scavenger Hunt checklist from our Headlands Branch and discover how our community contributed to:
• a flowering industry
• a scientific breakthrough
• the White House!

Complete the checklist and return it to one of our branches by July 3. You'll be entered into a raffle where you can win free cupcakes and some other sweet prizes!

Celebrate America's 250th birthday by supporting your local libraries! Beginning June 1st, attend a program or check out an item from 6 of the 8 library systems in Lake County and receive a stamp. Complete your passport and turn it back in by July 31st for a chance to win a Holden Forests and Gardens 4-person membership or a library swag bag.

Winner receives a HF&G 4 membership to Holden Forest & Gardens, which allows 4 people in on each visit, with 2 adults named on the membership card.

JUNE FREE FRESH PRODUCE DISTRIBUTIONS IN LAKE COUNTY. Help us spread the word by sharing this list of fresh food produce distributions available in June.

📞Help is also available at the nearly 40 food banks we assist. For information about local food pantries and community meals, please call Lifeline's 2-1-1 helpline referral service, a United Way of Lake County-funded program.

🥫We are always in need of businesses and organizations to run food drives. Please contact David at [email protected] to register, or consider giving directly to our Feed Lake County fund at uwlc.org/feed-lake-county, and we will do the shopping for you!

Check out our Yoga Kids story time with certified yoga instructor Darlene Kelbach! We'll guide families through a special story time, using yoga poses and breathing exercises. Our next session will be 1 pm on Thursday (June 4) at our Main Branch.
