Congratulations to PRISCILLA – Family Self-Sufficiency Program Graduate!

When Priscilla joined FSS, she was very focused on making life better for her and her family. In just a few short months, she was hired at a local grocery store and quickly worked her way into the Produce Manager position. As her income increased so did her savings through the FSS Escrow Account. Her determination to succeed has been inspiring to witness and we couldn’t be prouder of her accomplishments these past 2 years! Way to go Priscilla!

Recently, the HRA team from East Grand Forks rolled up their sleeves and made a meaningful impact at the United Way of Grand Forks, East Grand Forks & Area. They sorted, counted, and organized over 300 pounds of clothing, all destined to provide warmth and support to individuals and families in need. The HRA takes great pride in this vital contribution to the community, thank you!!

Small Cities Development Program

Now Accepting Applications – Mentor & Winger Rehab Program

Homeowners and commercial property owners in Mentor and Winger can now apply for rehab funding (deferred loans) to improve their properties. Eligible projects include roofing, siding, plumbing, electrical, windows, doors, furnaces, insulation, and more.

Homeowners must meet income guidelines and be current on insurance and property taxes. Commercial applicants must own the property, carry liability insurance, and be current on property taxes.

For over 40 yearas, the HRA has been writing grants on behalf of counties and cities within our service area to obtain funding for housing rehabilitation projects and public facilities.
