After years of dedication to Mentone Elementary School, we celebrate the retirement of an incredible educator, Mrs. Shear.
As a reading interventionist, Mrs. Shear has made a lasting impact on countless students, helping them grow in confidence and ability as readers. Through her patience, encouragement, and unwavering commitment, she has opened doors for so many children—instilling not only literacy skills, but a lifelong love of learning.
Her work often happened quietly, one student at a time, but its impact has been profound and far-reaching. The difference she has made in the lives of students, families, and colleagues alike cannot be overstated.
Mrs. Shear will be deeply missed at Mentone Elementary, but her legacy will continue in every student she has helped succeed.
