You may have noticed that our big ol' truck has been absent these past couple week. Fret not, it is in the shop for a new lift gate to be installed. We would like to thank our good friends at Feed My People Food Bank for letting us borrow one of theirs to continue our services in Dunn County. Collaboration is what it is all about. 🚛

We are sending a massive THANK YOU to our wonderful neighbors at Ahern. Their team recently hosted a community food drive in Menomonie and delivered an incredible 1,200 pounds of food straight to our shelves! 🚚✨

This generous donation is going directly toward Project SAM (Share A Meal). This program packs weekend food bags for Menomonie Area School District children, ensuring no child in Dunn County goes hungry when school lunches aren't available.

Last month we had many seed potatoes available, this month, we have more. Swing by the pantry during open hours and grab a bag or two. These are great for gardening but they are also edible, help us unload some bags so they do not go to waste.

Today, we are sharing some big news as we say a heartfelt farewell to our wonderful Community Connections Manager, Brit Blankenheim. After multiple incredible years of dedicated service, Brit is moving on to her next chapter. Brit was the heart of our Community Connections program and always brought passion, empathy and laughs to the position. We wish her good luck in all her future endeavors.

Huge thanks to our amazing partners at University of Wisconsin-Stout 💙

As campus winded down for the summer, the UW-Stout dining team ensured no good food went to waste. They generously donated an incredible 770 pounds of food from their lunch program directly to Stepping Stones of Dunn County!
