I’m proud to support Matthew Crowe for Mayor of Menomonie.
Matthew has been deeply involved in our community—serving on City Council and multiple committees—but what sets him apart is that he doesn’t just hold a seat. He shows up, asks the hard questions, and pushes things forward in a thoughtful, cohesive way.
He is a genuine leader who naturally garners support from not only the constituents but others on the council and in administration.
I’ve seen the conversation around the data center, and I’ll say this simply—if you trusted me to run and gave me your support, you can trust Matthew with your vote.
There is a distinct playbook that is being used, as is typical in elections, fear. Be above it, for what my word is worth, he is anti-data center. As someone who had their privacy invaded to the utmost running for mayor, these people are vile and destructive, they will go to all ends. Calling your employers, hacking email accounts, threatening your businesses and general harassment. I get it, some people don't want to know or acknowledge these things but they are real and I'm sick of watching it. Menomonie deserves better. We deserve a reflection of the kind of people and community we want to be in our leadership.
On a personal level, I’m proud to call Matthew a friend. He’s an incredible husband and father, and his wife Chelsea is just as impressive—strong, thoughtful, and someone he clearly respects in his decision-making. That says a lot about who he is.
I’ll also share this—early on, I considered running myself. But I knew Matthew would outwork anyone in the room, and he has. He understands what this role demands, and so does his family.
Matthew is beyond qualified—but more importantly, he’s the right kind of person for the kind of change Menomonie needs.
I wholeheartedly support him as our next mayor. It’s exciting to think about the shift in energy and direction our community can have with his leadership. Please vote Mathew Crowe your 2026 Menomonie Mayor.
