Last week, students in Ceramics 1 and Drawing 1 enjoyed a beautiful day at the Milwaukee County Zoo! While there the students' mission was to research and sketch for upcoming art projects.

Our Business Ventures freshmen are putting entrepreneurship into action! As part of their Entrepreneurship Project, students were challenged to turn a $50 startup investment into a profitable business by baking and selling warm chocolate chip cookies. 🍪📈

Over the course of a week, students are learning what it really takes to run a business: calculating costs, setting prices, tracking revenue, determining return on investment, and generating a profit!

And the best part? Students will have the opportunity to reinvest their profits into the business and continue making decisions like real entrepreneurs.

Once the project wraps up, they’ll get to enjoy the remaining profits by purchasing snacks for the rest of the semester!

It’s more than just cookies. It’s entrepreneurship, financial literacy, teamwork, and real-world business experience, all in action at Menomonee Falls High School!

Personal Finance juniors recently had the opportunity to participate in an Interview Project designed to build confidence and prepare them for the world beyond high school! Students could choose their own path: recording responses to three common interview questions or stepping into a real interview experience with our incredible community partners at Bank Five Nine!

This hands-on experience gave students the chance to practice communication, professionalism, and interview skills while connecting classroom learning to the real world.

We are so grateful to our community partners for investing in our students and helping prepare the next generation for success!

“A COMMUNITY AFFAIR” is a juried show presented by Community League of Menomonee Falls. This event has arts, crafts and vintage items. For over 40 years, the proceeds from this major fundraiser allowed Community League to donate over 1,000,000 dollars to many local charities, scholarships and civic endeavors. The members of this volunteer organization take great pride to jury exhibitors who create the unique, handmade items featured at our show each year.

This year's event will take place on Saturday, October 17th from 9am - 3pm at Menomonee Falls High School. Admission is $4 and all proceeds go to charity.

Have you ever used MyChart software? Or wondered what it would be liked to be a Badger? Our Business Academy students got to experience both!

This week, Business Academy sophomore students visited Epic Systems' (the makers of MyChart!) campus in Verona to learn more about a career at Epic, as well as what the company does and its impact on the community. After that they ate lunch at Union South and got to tour the Business school and see the iconic Bascom Hill at UW-Madison!

Want to enjoy a spaghetti dinner, but don't want to cook it yourself? Join the American Legion Post 382 and Falls Choir Association on Monday, October 19th for a Spaghetti Dinner & Raffle!

Enjoy a delicious dinner, check out some raffles, and help them raise money to support the North Middle School and Menomonee Falls High School Choir programs. All are welcome!
