Update as of 6/12/26 - Henes Park Beach is now open.

HENES PARK BEACH CLOSED!
Due to elevated levels of E. Coli, the beach at John Henes Park is temporarily closed. The Public Health Department of Delta and Menominee Counties will continue monitoring the levels and keep the City of Menominee updated. This closure will remain in effect until testing shows that the levels are safe for swimming.

The 11th Avenue boat launch is closed until Monday, 6/8/26, for the "Rumble on the River" event this weekend.

Sidewalk replacement project:

Construction will start approximately on 05/28/2026.

Construction areas will be the 18th Ave sidewalk from 18th Street west to the parking lot of the old Central School, and the sidewalk from 18th Avenue north on 22nd Street by the baseball fields.

Here's a look at our Summer Reading lineup! Pre-registration will open June 1st, though you can sign up at any point after that throughout the summer. Our theme this year is "Unearth A Story," all about dinosaurs and archeology! Both kids and adults can sign up to READ all summer and win some awesome prizes!

The sewer in the 3000 block of 14th Street will be shut down on Wednesday April 29, 2026, from 7am-3pm. No interruptions in service are expected.

Brush pickup for the City of Menominee will be the week of May 11-15, 2026. They will start on the south side of the City and come by 1 time, so please have your brush on the tree lawn before May 11, 2026.
