Scorpion Families and Friends,
We want to thank you for your continued support in helping our students show up each day ready to learn and succeed. As a reminder, our school dress code is in place to help maintain a safe, focused, and respectful learning environment for all students.
Recently, we’ve seen an increase in concerns related to footwear and overall dress code compliance. Please take a moment to review expectations with your student before they come to school.
A quick reminder about shoes:
Students must wear appropriate, safe, and secure footwear at all times while on campus. Shoes should support daily movement around school and be suitable for all learning activities.
To keep expectations consistent, the following may occur if a student is out of dress code:
Students will be dress coded by staff
Families will be contacted to bring a change of shoes or clothing
Students may be removed from class for the remainder of the day if appropriate items cannot be provided
We appreciate your partnership in reinforcing these expectations at home. Together, we can ensure our students remain safe, comfortable, and focused throughout the school day.
