*Completed* Evans Road and Garbani Road – Haven Cal Pacific Offsite and Underground Improvements
Work has been completed on Evans and Garbani Road. All lanes are now open.

*Completed* Rouse Road near Menifee Road – Heritage Village Development Project
Lennar Homes has completed street improvements on Rouse and Menifee Roads. All lanes are now open.

*Completed* Matthews Road from Menifee Road to Palomar Road – Road Closure
Work has been completed on Matthews Road. All lanes are now open.

Menifee Street Project and Construction Updates - Week of August 31, 2026

Menifee Road and McLaughlin Road – Menifee Valley Development Project
The installation of traffic signals on Menifee Road and McLaughlin Road has been completed. Some traffic control will stay in place as Brookfield continues with landscaping, sidewalk, and other frontage improvements. All other lanes, including westbound McLaughlin Road from Menifee Road to Briggs Road, are expected to open by the end of 2026.

Evans Road and Garbani Road – Haven Cal Pacific Offsite and Underground Improvements
Road closure work is completed on Garbani Road. Ongoing utility work and intermittent traffic control will be in place during normal working hours. Motorists should expect potential traffic delays and construction will continue through mid-September.

Congratulations to our Citizen of the Month, John Dreher! 👏

For more than 30 years, John has dedicated his time to serving Menifee’s youth and community. From coaching and volunteering with Menifee Valley Little League to supporting local Scouts and serving on the board of the Antelope-Menifee Rural Center, his impact can be seen across generations.

Thank you, John, for decades of service and for continuing to make a difference in Menifee!

The City of Menifee Public Works Department recently completed the first phase of a multi-phased approach to improve the pavement on Murrieta Road between Scott Road/Bundy Canyon Road and Garbani Road.

The next phase will include micro-milling, which will grind the current pavement surface creating a uniform roadway profile improving the ride-ability of the roadway by removing the bumps in the roadway surface.

Over the next several months, additional work will include crack sealing any remaining cracks after the micro-milling process. Once the crack sealing materials cure, the final phase will include a chip seal that will further preserve the existing pavement by providing a new wearing surface and the overall quality of the roadway.

The City will continue to post updates as work is being completed. Please visit menifee.ca.gov/traffic for the latest updates on road and construction projects happening throughout the community.
