Join us for breakfast tomorrow at Northbrook! This is available to any resident of the Mendota #289 area, ages 2-18 regardless of the school attended! Open 7:30am-9::00am Monday-Friday until June 18th! On the Menu for tomorrow, June 5th: Egg bites and biscuit OR Bagel and cream cheese!

Here is another fun opportunity!

Boys basketball camp will be the week of June 22nd! It will be offered to boys entering 3rd-8th grade in the 2026-2027 school year. Come learn with the coaching staff and current Trojans. We will be learning all sorts of skills and have a ton of fun doing it. This camp is for beginners and experienced players. Can’t wait to see a bunch of future Trojans! Hard copies will be handed out at Lincoln, Holy Cross, and Northbrook later on this week.

Several Northbrook seventh and eighth grade students recently had the privilege of meeting with Representative Brad Fritts and Senator Li Arellano as the General Assembly wrapped up their spring session. The 8th grade students also had the unique opportunity of paging for Representative Fritts. While in Springfield, our students watched as a bill he sponsored passed its third reading with a unanimous vote.
The day ended with a visit to the Lincoln Presidential Museum. Selected for their leadership, academic excellence, and character, these students proudly represented District 289. Thank you to Ms. Henkel and Mr. Scheppers for organizing this amazing opportunity for our students!
