🎨Magee Middle School recently welcomed artist Kim Garraway for a special visit with students! 🖌🌟

Students had the opportunity to hear about Kim's journey as an artist, learn about her creative process, and ask questions about careers in the arts. The visit provided valuable insight into the challenges and rewards of pursuing a creative profession while encouraging students to explore their own talents and future possibilities.

As part of the experience, three eighth-grade students were selected to assist with painting a mural at Magee High School and will each receive a $100 stipend for their participation.

Exciting News!🎉

The Simpson County School District is expanding its Pre-K program with the addition of a new Pre-K classroom at Magee Elementary and a new Pre-K classroom at Mendenhall Elementary!

Enrollment is now open for these classes. To register your child, please contact Lana Stephens at 601-847-2621 or [email protected].

📚Students must be four years old on or before September 1, 2026, to be eligible for enrollment.
