Talk therapy isn’t the only way for young people to express, connect, and heal.

Is there a teen in your life who would enjoy trying something a little different? Something creative, hands-on, and centered around music?

Your Story: Your Sound is a FREE 8-session music therapy group for youth ages 13–18, coming to the Frayser Library this September.

Through music therapy, youth will have the opportunity to explore self-expression, build connections, reflect, and discover new ways to tell their stories.

Frayser Library

Begins September 14

Mondays | 4–5 PM

8 FREE sessions

Ages 13–18

No prior music experience is needed.

Help us spread the word and share this opportunity with a young person, parent, caregiver, or youth-serving professional who may benefit.

Real conversations. Real voices. Real community impact.
The Joint Office of Neighborhood Safety & Engagement hosted Safer Memphis 365, a quarterly community conversation bringing together residents, Memphis and Shelby County leaders, students, nonprofit partners, and community advocates to discuss neighborhood safety, violence prevention, and the future of our communities. Together, we’re learning that everyone plays a part in building safer, stronger communities and in turning ideas into action.

We hope to see you at the next Safer Memphis 365 in October!
