Just when Inez needed her home to be a place of comfort, it became another source of worry.

She lost her job. She was diagnosed with stage three cancer. And the home she loved became unsafe.

A damaged roof allowed raccoons and squirrels to get inside, turning the place that should have brought comfort into a source of stress and uncertainty.

Through Memphis Habitat's Aging In Place program, critical repairs restored safety and peace of mind when she needed it most.
