The NAACP Tennessee State Conference held its Community Relations Summit and Impact Awards on March 6-7, 2026 in Mt. Juliet, TN. The Youth and College Program and Town Hall was led by Taylor Boyd, president of the TN State NAACP Youth and College Division. President Gloria Sweet Love hosted an incredible Community Relations Summit with discussions on United We Stand, Health in Black America and One Year Look at Project 2025.
The IMPACT Awards organized by TN State Conference Sr. Manager Daphne Nelson, paid tribute to amazing leaders. The Business Impact was awarded to Mr. John Davis, Education Impact was awarded to Dr. Yvonne Allen, the Health Impact was awarded to Mrs. Jacquelyn Dalton, the Community Impact award was given to The Volunteer Network, the Faith Impact award was awarded to Rev. Demetrius Nelson, the Civic & Social Justice Impact award Ms. Beverly Staten, the Arts Impact Award Mr. Thomas Taylor III and the Intergenrational & Youth Leader Impact was awarded to Mr. Tre'Veontae Martin.
