Every Scout Needs a Place to Belong

A Scout who feels invisible is a Scout we may lose.

Know their name.

Ask about their interests.

Notice when they're absent.

Celebrate their progress.

Give them a job.

Ask for their opinion.

Sometimes retention doesn't require a bigger activity.

Sometimes it requires an adult to say:

“We're glad you're here.”

We're moving our Roundtables to be more central - at the Scout Office - starting in August. We will be talking Popcorn and Cub Recruiting, checking in on SYT training, making sure your unit leaders are aware of the training opportunities available, and updates on upcoming events.
