What a wonderful summer it has been! 💙

We’ve had the pleasure of mentoring an amazing group of young ladies through the Mayor’s Summer Work Program here at Shelby County Community Services Agency. They are bright, motivated, and full of potential.

Throughout the summer, they’ve worked alongside our team on meaningful LIHEAP projects, including community outreach and strategic planning using SWOT analysis. Watching them ask questions, share ideas, and grow in confidence has been truly rewarding.

The future is in good hands. Thank you for your hard work, your positive attitudes, and the joy you’ve brought to our team. We are so proud of each of you and can’t wait to see where your journeys take you. Keep shining! ✨💙

Here’s what you need to bring to your in-person utility assistance appointment. If you do not have these documents, we won’t be able to process your application, and your appointment will need to be rescheduled. Make sure any required forms are completed ahead of time. You can find them under the LIHEAP Document Center at www.shelbycountycsa.org/utility-assistance/.

It’s important to note you must have an email address. Make sure you know your password and bring a mobile device that can check email to your appointment. You’ll need to use it to provide a verification code.

Seating is limited in the CSA office, and only the applicant is encouraged to attend their appointment.
