At Freedom Prep, we know that supporting students means caring for the whole child. Social-emotional learning (SEL) is an important part of our approach, and our full-time social workers help connect students and families with the support and resources they need to thrive in and beyond the classroom.

Weā€™re grateful for partners like Mane Up Memphis who help bring awareness to mental health and strengthen the communities we serve. Together, weā€™re making well-being a priority!

We celebrated our fall sports teams, kicked off a brand-new Freedom Prep basketball season, and felt the love from our proud families, fellow students, teachers and staff, who showed UP to cheer on our student-athletes! From the stands to the court, the Eagle pride and school spirit were shining bright.

Ā”Celebrando el !

FPA Millbranch celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month with a show full of music, dancing, and community pride! Students and teachers dressed in beautiful folkloric attire, families cheered from the audience, and the sounds of Selena and Gloria Estefan brought everyone together for a joyful celebration.

From performances on stage to classroom activities exploring traditions and cultural diversity, our students had the opportunity to learn, share, and celebrate the many cultures that make our community special.

We love seeing our core values of Community, Respect, and Excellence come to life as our Freedom Prep family celebrates the richness of Hispanic heritage together!

What a celebration! FPA Brownlee High was full of music, dancing, creativity, delicious food, soccer, and JOY today as we celebrated with our families and community!

From paletas, tamales, and empanadas to piraguas and other delicious goodies, our students, teachers, families, and community partners came ready to celebrate. And what a turnout!

Our students brought so much life to the afternoon, from face painting to playing soccer on the field. Mrs. Layton taught us how to make papel picado and flores, while Mr. Armas recognized our soccer players with awards. Something was happening around every corner!

A BIG shout-out to the many vendors, community partners, and student entrepreneurs who joined us and shared their businesses, talents, creativity, and culture with our Freedom Prep community. Thank you for helping make today such a special celebration.

Brownlee, you showed up and showed out! šŸ§”

Drop a šŸ§” in the comments for everyone who helped make today one to remember!
