Twenty-five years ago today, Law Enforcement, Firefighters, and EMS personnel answered the call to help while the tragedies we witnessed were unfolding in New York, Pennsylvania, and Washington DC.

Many from the local tri-state area but also from far and wide came to assist on September 11th and the days that followed, expressing their extraordinary courage, sacrifice, and unwavering dedication.

Everyday, first responders are not only our partners at MADD, but they also stand alongside us in the fight to eliminate impaired driving to keep our roads safe. They are the first individuals the victims we serve encounter after a tragedy.

To the law enforcement officers, firefighters, and EMS personnel who put their lives on the line for ours daily: thank you for your service, your partnership, and your selfless sacrifice. We will .
