Let’s also celebrate the increasing number of woman business leaders in our community.

I can’t say enough about the dedication of our public employees. Not what their role or job title, they are all dedicated to serving our residents.

And to my family, friends, and all the people of Melrose, thank you for the opportunity to serve this great community.

Memorial Hall, the City's recently renovated Civil War memorial that doubles as a Gala-worthy event venue, has a rich history that dates back to 1909.

When the first woman elected Mayor of Melrose is inaugurated on Monday, January 8, 2024, its history will get even richer.

The ceremony, which is free and open to the public, marks a new chapter for Melrose. Our Mayor-elect, City Council, School Committee, local dignitaries, special guests, and performers would be honored by your attendance.
