Melrose Solid Waste and Recycling Melrose Department of Public Works City Yard is currently open Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays 7:30 AM - 2:45 PM and Saturdays 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM (April-November).

The Melrose Solid Waste and Recycling page is intended to inform Melrose residents of important solid waste and recycling news, projects, events and campaigns. The Melrose Department of Public Works provides quality services to the community in the areas of drinking water, wastewater, solid waste, recycling, parks, forestry, fleet, highway, cemetery, facilities, engineering, and administr

ation, while promoting health, safety, sustainability, and fiscal responsibility through the teamwork and commitment of an honest and dependable workforce. The administrative office at DPW is open Monday through Friday 8:00 - 3:30. As a friendly reminder, trash and recycling collection will be delayed by one day (Monday collection on Tuesday, etc.) due to Labor Day on Monday, 9/7.

The DPW Administration Office and City Yard will also be closed on Monday, 9/7.
