- Do you have what it takes to be an Infantry Scout or Sniper in “The Nation’s First”?
- The benefits of being a member of the platoon are: high speed training opportunities that line platoons don’t take part in and priority for schools (Ranger, Air Assault, Pathfinder, sniper and many others).
- The 182nd Infantry Scout Platoon and Sniper Section are holding tryouts during the May drill. If you are a member of the regiment or want to become a member and tryout send us a FB email with your name, unit and cell #.
- To be considered you must be able to pass the APFT at 70% or better in each event, pass a ruck march and land navigation course, pass a scout/sniper interview. You must also have no recent disciplinary actions against you and be highly motivated.
