Kinda chic, kinda sporty, kinda making the most of our park. ✨🌳

Did you know, beyond the playground and splash pad, Melissa Lake Park also has plenty of open green space to enjoy outdoor activity with family and friends?!

The open green space is first come, first served and intended for casual recreation use such as:
• Kicking a ball around
• Playing catch
• Playing tag
• Personal workouts
• Skill building with practice and repetitions

The open green space is NOT intended for:
• Reservations or exclusive use
• League games or tournament play
• Paint or field markings (cones are acceptable)
• Golfing
• E-bikes, scooters, and motorized vehicles
• Activities that disrupt other park users

Come enjoy the shared space, be respectful of others, and make the most out of Melissa Lake Park! 🌳☀️

Tribute Fest will be a pedestrian traffic only zone!

Planning to roll into Tribute Fest on two wheels? We love the enthusiasm, but once you enter the park, you’ll need to walk your wheels!

That means no riding bikes, e-bikes, scooters, e-scooters, or other wheeled transportation through the park. You’re welcome to bring them, but please walk them alongside you while you enjoy the festival.

Thanks for helping us keep Tribute Fest safe, fun, and easy for everyone to navigate!

From unique finds and handmade goods to local favorites and plenty of goodies to explore, there will be something for everyone to discover while you rock out at the amphitheater.

The music isn't the only thing happening at Melissa Tribute Fest! We've got plenty of fun lined up for the little ones, too. 🎉

Let the kids play, explore, and make some summer memories before you all kick back, enjoy the music, and soak up a night at the lake.

Grab the lawn chairs. Bring the family. We'll see you at Melissa Lake Park on Saturday, September 12th starting at 4pm!

We're ending Melissa Tribute Fest with a bang as Guns 4 Roses takes the stage, bringing the raw energy and iconic hits of Guns N' Roses to Melissa Lake Park.

Fun Fact about Guns 4 Roses; they have performed for crowds as large as 26,000 people across the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and Central America! Looks like we're heading to Paradise City!

One more band. One unforgettable night. And plenty of reasons to turn it up. 🤘

Fun Fact about Seger System’s members; they have more than 75 years of combined professional touring and studio experience. We are in for a treat with this performance!

Get ready to rock! 🎸🔥

We're kicking off Melissa Tribute Fest with Zep Unplugged, bringing the legendary sound of Led Zeppelin to the stage at Melissa Lake Park.

Fun Fact about Zep Unplugged; they don't travel light! The band brings a whole “guitarsenal” to the stage, including 6- and 12-string guitars, mandolin, and even a resonator guitar! 🤘

Get ready for big guitar riffs, unforgettable classics, and a night of live music under the Melissa Texas sky. See you Saturday, September 12th at 4pm!
