If you are a MCO client, and have a child that needs a bike but don't have the means to provide this, we have a wonderful contest happening now! Starting tonight, any client family with a child within the grades K-8th grade, can apply for a new bike! This contest will last until June 5th, and the winner will be announced by June 12th! Swing by MCO tonight for the application!

Walmart has donated bread, tortillas, meat, and snacks. The community has donated baby items & food. We’d love to provide for families & neighbors in need, as this is what we are here for! ♥️

What exactly does food insecurity mean? The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) defines food insecurity as a lack of consistent access to enough food for an active, healthy life. Some examples of this are:

🍗 Skipping meals or excluding staples like protein or vegetables to stretch out groceries

🥦 Having to choose between paying for groceries or paying other bills

🥫 increasing anxiety about where your next meal will come from

If you are currently food insecure, feel free to come to our local food pantry, Melissa Community Outreach, to receive food & hygiene items.

Hours are Mondays & Thursdays, 5-6:30pm.
