Eastern Shore Literacy Council We provide free literacy and English language tutoring to adults living in Accomack and Northampton counties. We are funded by local donations and grants.

We are a local Dolly Parton's Imagination Library affiliate partner. We are a nonprofit organization who trains volunteers to tutor adult residents of the Eastern Shore of Virginia in the areas of Adult Basic Education (ABE) and English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL). Our services are provided free of charge. Change a life! Give the gift of literacy.
