We've reached 144 individuals, THIS YEAR, with this one Prevention Education Partner. How do you become a part of this movement?

At the Women's Center we not only help survivors become stronger we also want to get ahead of the problem, by teaching everyone how to love better.

We do this through interactive workshops focusing on Healthy & Unhealthy Relationship behaviors, consent and boundaries.

One of our amazing partners for this education program is Operation New Hope.

Every 3 weeks on graduation day we join the graduates to talk about the 10 signs, how do you recognize them, and how do you even know what healthy love is when you have only had unhealthy examples. This is one of our most interactive groups for this topic. They always have great examples of Healthy & Unhealthy behaviors and great questions on how to navigate those difficult endings!

We are so grateful for this partnership and highly recommend you check out the work they are doing in our community.

💜 **What an incredible day at Space Coast Woman’s Day 2026!** 💜

The Women's Center of Brevard was honored to be part of this inspiring event, connecting with community members, sharing resources, and celebrating the strength, resilience, and empowerment of women across the Space Coast.

One of our favorite moments was our interactive community board, where attendees completed the phrase:

"Everyone deserves a relationship with…”

The responses were heartfelt and powerful—*trust, love, respect, boundaries, communication, honesty, kindness, peace, self-love, community,* and so much more. Together, these words paint a beautiful picture of what healthy relationships look like and remind us of the values that help individuals and communities thrive.

Seeing so many people engage in meaningful conversations about healthy relationships, personal growth, and connection reinforces why prevention education and survivor support matter. Every word shared on this board represents hope, healing, and the vision of a safer, more compassionate community.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth, shared your thoughts, and supported our mission. We are grateful to be part of a community that believes everyone deserves relationships built on respect, trust, and care.

For over 45 years as a local non-profit organization in the Brevard County community, the Women's Center has been on a focused mission to help women, men & children who have faced trauma related to domestic violence & sexual assault.

Healing starts with support, connection, and community. 💜

The Women’s Center of Brevard is launching our Domestic Violence Recovery Workshops beginning May 22 at our Melbourne office. These workshops are designed to help survivors build coping skills, understand trauma, strengthen healthy relationship skills, and focus on personal growth in a safe and supportive environment.

• Domestic Violence & Trauma

• Post-Traumatic Growth
• Expressive Arts Techniques (no artistic experience required!)

April was volunteer appreciation month and boy did we have a blast. Thank you to our community partners Sunrise Bread Company , Panera Bread East Florida, and Starbucks Melbourne Mall for hosting us so that we could celebrate ALL of our volunteers across the county.

We could not do what we do in this community supporting survivors without our dedicated volunteers and this is just a small token of our appreciation.

We'd also like to recognize our nominees and winner of the Ruth Cote Clemente Volunteer of the year award as well. Check out the photo's of the good times that were had.

We are deeply honored to announce that we have received a Wellness Grant from First and it means the world to us and to the community we serve.

This partnership with Health First will allow us to expand our reach and bring even more compassionate, specialized care to survivors right here in our community. More access. More support. More healing — available where and when it's needed most.
