I know it’s been a while since we’ve updated, but the library is still going strong. We gave it a little facelift with some fresh mulch, and a junior steward planted her daisies. 🌼 Have you stopped by recently?

We could do this with all the snow we’re getting. 😄

In downtown Madison, Wisconsin, a Little Free Library made entirely from snow is now up and running! What book would you share in this library? 😍 ❄️

The junior stewards and myself book bombed a couple local little libraries. We hit up one at Choate Park, one at Oakland Park, and one at the Village Church.

I also believe there is a new little library on Lovering St. by McGovern School. We couldn’t get to it because of construction, but we will hit it up soon!

Thank you to the generous patron who dropped off a working Nook! 😱 The charger is included as well as all the instructions.

I was so surprised to see it, but know one of our patrons can certainly put it to good use.

Here is a resource of some books for kids and families to read to discuss the topic of racism. We’ve found some of these at our local library already. I personally am reading The Hate You Give by Angie Thomas.

What are you reading right now? Do you have other suggestions as well?

These books for children and teens uplift the beauty and strength of Black communities and exemplify the principles of the Black Lives Matter movement.
