You may have seen a post claiming that a farmers’ market vendor was selling roadkill jerky here in Medina County. Rest assured, this is not a true story. No such vendor exists and no health warnings have been issued.

Farmers’ markets remain one of the best places to support our local growers and enjoy healthy produce. Our food safety team works with local food vendors to make sure food items are being sold properly, and -importantly- not scraped off the pavement.

For accurate health information, follow us here on social media, check our website, or call our office.
