Today, we come together in remembrance of the tragedy that took place on September 11, 2001. We recognize the bravery of first responders, veterans, and citizens who became heroes that day. Though 25 years have now passed, their spirit of courage, sacrifice and unity endures. We will never forget.

Please join the Vietnam Veterans of America (VVA) Chapter #385 on Friday, September 18 at 7:00 PM for a brief and solemn ceremony honoring the brave men and women who were Prisoners of War (POW) and those who remain Missing in Action (MIA).

This ceremony will honor POW/MIA service members from all wars and serve as a reminder that we will never forget those who served and sacrificed for our freedom.

On Sunday, September 27, 2026, at 1:00 PM members of the Medina community will gather to honor and remember the brave service members who made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation.

The ceremony will be held at:

This special ceremony is an opportunity for our community to stand with Gold Star Families, honor the lives and service of their loved ones, and ensure their sacrifice and legacy are never forgotten.
