Medina County Sanitary Engineers MCSE provides, maintains, and manages water and wastewater systems for approximately 50,000 customers

The Medina County Sanitary Engineering Department has three (3) separate Divisions: (1) Administration;(2) Sewerage; and (3) Water Supply and Distribution. The Sanitary Engineering Department has always functioned as a self-supporting department with the funds necessary to provide services, personnel, and debt retirement obtained through user charges to those residences or firms which utilize the

services provided. The Medina County Sanitary Engineers Office currently provides, maintains, and manages water and wastewater systems for approximately 50,000 customers. The primary goal is to provide safe, reliable, efficient services that are in compliance with Local, State and Federal Regulations.

The Medina County Sanitary Engineer Billing Department counter remains closed due to ongoing lobby renovations, with anticipated completion in September 2026.

***Please note: The drop box at the front of the building is no longer available during construction.***

Payments may still be made online, by phone, or by mail. In-person payments are being accepted at the Sanitary Permits Counter, located in the lobby at the rear of the building.

Payments may still be made online, by phone, or by mail. Onsite payments may be placed in the drop box at the front of the building or delivered to the Sanitary Permits Counter, located in the lobby at the back of the building.
