It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of David M Green, our brother firefighter and former Orleans County Sheriff, Director of Emergency Management and County Fire Coordinator

David was a huge part of the East Shelby Volunteer Fire Company for 65 years and someone who was always willing to serve his community and stand beside his fellow firefighters. His dedication, friendship, and commitment will never be forgotten.

He will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing him.

Please keep the Green family, friends, and all who served alongside him in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Rest easy, brother. We’ll take it from here.

Yesterday East Shelby participated along with Ridgeway, Shelby, Medina Fire Departments, Mercy Flight, Medina Poilice Department, Orleans County Sheriff's Department and New York State Troppers and among others in a mock DWI drill for Medina and Lyndonville students what goes on a scene. WE ALL hope this never happens in real life. Hope they took everything to heart and be safe and responsible.
