Recently, we had the pleasure of welcoming members of the Gastonia Fire Department to our manufacturing facility in Old Fort, North Carolina.

During their visit, the team had the opportunity to see their turnout gear being made firsthand and follow the process from raw materials and individual components through final assembly. It was a great opportunity to showcase the craftsmanship, technology, and attention to detail that go into every set of gear we produce.

We appreciate the Gastonia Fire Department taking the time to visit and learn more about the people and processes behind the protective equipment firefighters rely on every day.

Learning, innovation, and partnership were at the center of a recent visit to Milliken & Company headquarters in Spartanburg, SC.

Members of the Fire-Dex team, alongside Fire-Dex and Milliken customers, had the opportunity to explore Milliken's history, experience existing product lines firsthand, and gain insight into the innovations shaping the future of protective fabrics and materials.

We appreciate the invitation and the opportunity to connect, collaborate, and continue advancing firefighter protection together.

On International Overdose Awareness Day, we remember those lost to overdose, support the families and communities affected, and help raise awareness about prevention.

International Overdose Awareness Day is observed each year on August 31 and serves as a global opportunity to reduce stigma, encourage education, and promote life-saving conversations.

Awareness matters. Compassion matters. Every conversation has the potential to make a difference.

A new chapter in firefighter safety for Lakeport Fire Protection District

The department recently received 13 sets of structural turnout gear and 14 sets of wildland PPE from Fire-Dex as part of a major investment in protecting its members.

This project was led by Firefighters Nathan Barnett and Shane Kieffer, who dedicated more than 100 combined hours researching, evaluating, designing, and fitting gear to ensure their crews have the protection, comfort, and performance they need on every call.

By prioritizing the latest NFPA-compliant technology designed to help reduce firefighter exposure to PFAS and selecting lighter-weight gear with advanced thermal protection, Lakeport Fire is making a long-term investment in firefighter health and safety.

AeroFlex Has Arrived at Somerset Regional VFD!

Recently the Somerset Regional Volunteer Fire Department received their first three sets of AeroFlex turnout gear.
