The Aging and Disabilities Resource Center (ADRC) is a starting point for answers to questions about community services and supports, helping those 60+ as well as those 18+ with any disabilities. The ADRC provides information and assistance, short-term options counseling, benefits assistance, and Medicare counseling (certified and trained through the Ohio Department of Insurance). Outreach service
s are also available to adults 60+ who after an initial assessment first, may qualify for subsidized trips with Transit, Home Delivered Meals (meals for home-bound seniors), and Congregate meals (offered from four nutrition sites and require reservations and pre-registration). Medina County Senior Center hosts a variety of programs and activities such as Bingo, Billiards, Craft Classes, Art/Painting, and Exercise to name a few. Some programs/activities may require a small fee. Special events and monthly day trips are also organized through the Medina County Office for Older Adults such as Senior Day (held in the Spring) and Picnics on the Patio.
