On certain types of calls, our service works closely with the Mediapolis Fire Department. A couple times a year our departments train together, and last night we trained at Big Hollow Creek Recreation Area, practicing rescue, assessment and treatment of a trauma patient in a remote location, as well as landing zone training. Special thank you to MedForce Aeromedical Transport for coming out to train with us.

The Mediapolis Ambulance Service and Mediapolis Fire Department will be conducting training at Big Hollow this evening around the area of the model airplane field. Expect to see aircraft, emergency vehicles and some additional traffic.
