Young Democrats of Delaware County Delaware County Young Democrats aims to increase the engagement of democrats between the ages of 18 and 40 in local, regional, state, and national politics.

The Young Democrats of Delaware County aim to organize, educate, and mobilize young voters (ages 18 to 40) to increase political engagement, serve community needs, and drive sustainable party growth. We are a welcoming group of diverse backgrounds and ideologies interested in coming together and doing great things for our community. We come from all walks of life. We are college students, lawyers,

high school dropouts, former republicans, graduate students, managers, entry-level employees, mothers, fathers, homeowners, renters, sons, and daughters. We love Delco. We are a networking organization for young professionals that hosts mixers and events where we socialize and connect. Some of our past events include Friends-giving (think Thanksgiving) and happy hours. We like talking politics, sports, policy, family, news, and more. At our events, we often feature key political players as speakers. We have served as a platform for candidates seeking election at all levels of politics, ranging from local school board to the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. These serve as great opportunities to network, learn about career opportunities in public service, and more. We also connect individuals who want to volunteer with their local democratic committees so they can get involved in voter registration drives, get out the vote efforts, and election day efforts. Many of us hold elected office or are running for office themselves, and we would love to share advice and guidance if you would like to run for office too. Reach out today!
