Founded in 1953, the Rose Tree Fire Company serves and protects the citizens of Upper Providence Township in Delaware County, PA.

For more information please visit our webpage. Our front line apparatus consists of an Engine, Quint, and Rescue. In addition we also have the chief's vehicle which responds directly to calls, the utility which is used as needed, and our original 1953 American LaFrance engine which has been appropriately named "RT1". At our station we also have a beautiful hall with adjoining kitchen, restrooms, c

🚨 **TRAFFIC & WATER SERVICE ALERT** 🚨

A **water main break near Elwyn Road and East Baltimore Pike** may impact traffic in the area. Drivers should use caution, expect possible delays, and consider an alternate route if possible.

Water service in the surrounding area also appears to be affected.

For the latest information regarding the water main break and any impacts to water service, please check directly with **AQUA**.

Please use caution around crews working in the area and give them plenty of room.

School starts tomorrow! 🚌📚

That means school buses will be back on our roads and children will be walking to and from bus stops. Please slow down, stay alert and give yourself a little extra time during the morning commute.

When a school bus is stopped with its red lights flashing and stop arm extended—stop. A few extra seconds can help keep our children safe.

🔥 A Late Night for Rose Tree

While most of Upper Providence was winding down last night, your Rose Tree volunteers were answering the call.

🚒 Apartment Fire – Media Borough
Rose Tree assisted Media Fire Company at an apartment fire on the 200 block of East Jefferson Street. Our crews assisted with primary searches and equipment cleanup, remaining on scene for approximately 40 minutes.

🚨 Automatic Fire Alarm – Benchmark School
As crews were clearing the apartment fire, the company was dispatched directly to an automatic fire alarm at Benchmark School. Crews found no fire, and the scene was turned over to maintenance.

Two late-night responses back-to-back, followed by work, family, and everything else that comes with the next morning.

So if you see one of your firefighters today, we’re sure they’d gladly accept a cup of coffee. ☕️

The officers and members of Rose Tree Fire Company No. 1 extend our deepest condolences to the Pennsylvania State Police, the family, friends, and fellow troopers of Trooper Michael E. Pahira, who tragically lost his life in the line of duty while serving the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Please keep Trooper Pahira’s loved ones and the entire Pennsylvania State Police family in your thoughts and prayers during this incredibly difficult time.
