Company 23 Has Been Busy!
Over the past two weeks, Company 23 has answered the call across Delaware County, providing Rapid Intervention Team (RIT) coverage, assisting neighboring departments, and standing ready.
🔥 5/28/26 – Marcus Hook (501 Market Street)
Snorkel 23 responded as the 2nd RIT Team on a working fire assignment. Crews arrived and stood by with Station 68 units until released by Deputy 68.
🔥 5/29/26 – Edgmont Township (3430 Providence Road)
Rescue 23 responded as the primary RIT Team for a working building fire. Crews assisted with ventilation operations and remained on scene until released by command.
🚑🔥 6/4/26 – Aston Township / Media Borough
Company 23 was dispatched as the 2nd RIT Team to a working fire in Aston Township. While responding, Snorkel 23 was redirected to a serious medical emergency in Media Borough. Later that evening, Company 23 responded as the RIT Team to a working fire in Middletown Township, staging in the rear of the building until released by Deputy 46.
🔥 6/4/26 – Middletown Township (20 Van Leer Drive)
Company 23 was dispatched to assist Middletown Township on a working fire. Snorkel 23 arrived and set up as the primary RIT team in the rear of the property. Crews stood by until released by Deputy 46.
🔥 6/5/26 – Upper Chichester (33 Andrew Court)
Company 23 responded as the RIT Team on the 2nd Alarm for a working fire. Crews stood by on Side A of the structure until released by command. No RIT services were required.
Amid these notable mutual aid responses, Company 23 continued to handle a steady volume of emergencies within our own local response area. While assisting neighboring departments on working fires and special assignments, our members also responded to numerous fire, rescue, EMS assist, and service calls throughout the community.
