Last week, Chief Investigator Cheety and Investigator Dunn attended the 2025 NYC Babies and Toddlers Trauma Investigations Conference focusing our efforts in strengthening our strategies and collaboration amongst forensic and medical professionals in child abuse prevention and investigations.

Some of our Forensic Investigators closely involved with handling our Unidentified Remains Cases at the DCOME had the honor to attend the NJSP Cold Case Annual Conference exploring the various resources available within the nation to aid in related cases 🧬👥

Last week some of our DCOME staff had a great time attending the annual Forensic February Seminar hosted by the Gift of Life with various speakers presenting on many different topics! Including one of our very own, Megan, our Bereavement Coordinator, spoke on her project on Psychological Autopsies! 👥💭📈🌟
