Upper Providence Township’s First Bee City Garden Tour

Come explore the beautiful gardens of Upper Providence Township residents during our first Bee City Garden Tour! Each property will showcase the vision and design behind its landscape, featuring select native plants and pollinator-friendly varieties.

The full tour includes four homes, with each garden tour lasting approximately 45 minutes.

Tour Schedule

* 9:00 a.m. – First home
* 10:00 a.m. – Second home
* 11:00 a.m. – Third home
* 12:00 p.m. – Fourth home

Attendees are welcome to come and go as they like and visit as many of the four gardens as their schedule allows.

Maps and directions will be emailed to all registered attendees prior to the event.

Kirk Lane is currently closed from N. Orange Street to Centennial Avenue. Please avoid the area and use an alternate route.

🌿 New Ways to Explore the Upper Providence Preserve

Upper Providence Township has been awarded a $4,530 Visit Delco Tourism Grant to enhance the visitor experience at the Upper Providence Preserve.

The grant will fund the installation of a 10x telescope viewer, allowing residents to take in views of the Preserve’s natural resources without having to walk through the Preserve. The project will also add eight interpretive signs explaining and highlighting the natural resources found throughout the Preserve.

We’re excited to bring this project to life and create a new way for residents and visitors to connect with the Preserve.

Kids ages 2–10 will learn the fundamentals of golf in a fun, age-appropriate setting.
