Children's Advocacy Center of Jackson County

Children's Advocacy Center of Jackson County Our Vision: Communities where children are safe, families are strong, and our child victims become children again.

Mission: Meeting the needs of our community w/a child-focused multidisciplinary approach to prevention, treatment, & prosecution of abuse. The Children’s Advocacy Center of Jackson County is a grass-roots, community organization which provides a home-like environment where child victims can disclose abuse to law enforcement and child protective workers in privacy and safety and can receive services in one child-friendly location. By redesigning the “system” with the special needs of children in mind, the Center reduces the trauma of abuse, and provides coordinated support services for child abuse victims to begin the healing process. Originally, the Children’s Advocacy Center of Jackson County was a project of the Jackson County Child Abuse Task Force, Inc. The Task Force was a group of professional and lay people concerned about the child abuse issues within the county. They formed a private, non-profit, tax exempt organization in 1977, and with the help of local businesses, many civic organizations, schools, churches and countless individuals, opened the Children’s Advocacy Center in 1991. The Center was expanded to its present location in the historic Reames building in April of 1995. Since then, two major expansions have allowed the Center to meet the growing needs of Jackson County. Today, program support is provided by individuals, corporations, small businesses, government agencies, and private foundations. The Children’s Advocacy Center of Jackson County is a charter member of the National Children’s Alliance.

🌟 Help us give a big CACJC welcome to Jules! 🌟

We are thrilled to have Jules join our team.
She moved to the Rogue Valley for college and is an SOU alumna with a degree in Theater. Jules made the Valley home in 2020 and found her way to CACJC after hearing from her friend and CACJC teammate, Benji, about the incredible work happening here.

When we needed a new receptionist, Jules jumped at the opportunity, and we are so glad she did. She has quickly become a wonderful addition to our team, bringing a smile, positive energy, and a willingness to jump in and help wherever she’s needed.

She brings so much light to our therapy department and is already making a difference in the day-to-day experience of our staff and families.

When she’s not at CACJC, Jules enjoys reading, writing, drawing, and playing games. And because every good introduction needs a fun fact… Jules didn’t lose her last baby teeth until she was in her 20s! 😄🦷

We are so happy you’re here, Jules! Help us welcome her to CACJC family, drop a 💙 in the comments.
